The Need to Share

A Turning Point

I found this wonderful quote on Pinterest:

“The older you get, the more you realize you have no desire for drama, conflict, or any kind of intensity.  You just want a cozy home, a nice book and a person who knows how you drink your coffee.”

I don’t do drama or conflict!  I have a cozy home and many nice books, but I don’t have a person who knows how I drink my coffee or anything else for that matter.  I believe that our hearts need to share, our hearts need the assurance of the laughter being heard and the empty spaces being filled.  We are more than Spirit and Body.  Our Heart is the center.

A short new poem:

Only Love

The silence helps me focus.

The order soothes my mind.

The peaceful days linger and nourish my spirit.

But the empty spaces and silent voices

Can’t fill the heart.

Only love can bring the fullness to life.
